You can permanently delete your Point Pilot account and the personal data we store for that account. This page describes how to do it in the app and how to contact us if you need help.
How to delete your account (in the app)
- Open the Point Pilot app on your device and sign in.
- Go to Settings (gear icon in the bottom navigation).
- Scroll to the account section and tap Delete account.
- Confirm when prompted. Your account and associated app data will be removed as described below.
Account deletion is available to signed-in users. If you cannot access the app, use the email option below.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot use the in-app flow (for example, you lost access to your device), email us from the address associated with your account:
support@pointfolio.co
Include “Account deletion” in the subject line and the email address your account uses. We will verify ownership and process eligible requests within a reasonable time.
What we delete
When your account is deleted successfully, we remove, for your user ID:
- Your Firebase Authentication login (you can no longer sign in).
- Your user profile and settings stored in our database.
- Portfolio items and activity logs you created in the app.
- Trip / goal data linked to your account, where applicable.
- Forum posts you authored, your comments on others’ posts, and related forum media we stored for your content.
- Your blocked-users list and active session tokens for the app.
What we may retain
- Billing: Stripe may retain transaction records according to its policies and legal requirements; we do not use those records to restore your app account after deletion.
- Legal & security: We may retain minimal, access-controlled technical records (for example, aggregated or de-identified server logs, or internal security audit entries) where required for fraud prevention, security, or law. These are not used to market to you or to recreate your deleted profile in the app.
